This statue depicts an indigenous bushman with his prey after the hunt.
The bushmen, alternatively also known as the San People are hunther-gatherers who still live as they did thousands of years ago. Technology and the modern world as we know it is still unknown to them. It is estimated that there are still about 1200 bushmen in Zimbabwe and 63 500 just along the Botswana border with Zimbabwe.
This sculpture is made out of ironwood from Zimbabwe.
